Donate your time and knit a critter of your choice for the kids at Hartford Children's and Bay State Medical Hospital. There will be a box of critters taken to the kids around the holidays.

Knitting with Beads

We have a new supply of beads for knitting. Beads can be used to adorn your garments or accessorize your wardrobe in scarves, jewelry, hats, shawls, mittens, etc. Swallow Hill Creations has arrived! We have knitted jewelry kits, scarf kits, and rayon yarn. Beads on a Stitch kits are also available. Come visit our store and see a sample.

Sit-N-Knit

Wednesday 1-4 PM , Fridays 1-4 PM and Saturdays 1-4 PM Sunday 12-3

You are welcome to come to the shop to just sit and knit. Bring a friend or come by yourself and make a new friend. There is no charge and no instruction is given.

There will be no Sit and Knit allowed during class time.

Class Enrollment Information and Policy

Class size :  We require a minimum of three (3) students to hold a class. The maximum number of students to be taken in any class will depend on the difficulty level of the project. We want you to have sufficient time with the instructor. There will be no Sit and Knit allowed during class time.

Class Enrollment:   Pre-payment is required.  You will not be enrolled in the class until you have pre-paid. No refunds will be given if you cancel or do not attend a class. We will refund your enrollment fee if we cancel the class. We will credit you with a class if we cancel due to bad weather. Materials are not included in the class fee.

These classes are for everyone.  Whether you want to learn something new, need help with a special project or have no idea where to start. We teach all levels and ages: Adults, teens and children.  You can knit whatever you want, something you see in the shop (excludes Special projects), or a pattern of your choice. If you and a couple of friends want to learn and none of these times fit into your schedule, please call us so we can arrange a time that works for you. Call and enroll today! Need classes but can't make our schedule? We will provide private knitting and crocheting classes for $20.00 an hour.

Thursday Evening Workshop

Work on a project of your choice and get help on those knitted or crochet items that have been sitting around. You know the ones that you started when the world began and you have been too busy to get going on again.

6:00-8:00 pm Knitting and Crocheting Open Workshop.

Cost : $40.00 per month

OR

$13.00 for walk-ins per class

There will be no Sit and Knit allowed during class time.
